Don't let your neighbor borrow your car to run to the grocery store!!!

Well, if I can believe this thread...

Go to his door and say you know who he is, then, before he kicks the door back at you, ask him if he would please tell you how to keep your PCAR safe.

He might make it a point of professional pride to help you. Could be very interesting relationship. If he's spent his time, then he does deserve to be treated like any civvy.

It's unlikely he'll steal a car so close to home. Haven't you ever heard the expressions "Don't crap where you eat"?

I agree with orb... If he wanted it, you would be without 911 as we speak.

Then again if he is a crack head all bets are off

Nothing is 100% safe so make sure the insurance is in tip top shape. Watch Gone In 60 Seconds to feel really insecure.

Good Luck,

He may have some interesting cars you could borrow.... I might just take his car so he would know how it feels!

Mention that your other interst is handguns and you have a "shoot first, ask questions later policy".

Whatever you do do not make up stories about how your car stalls or stops at stoplights. Because Murphy will come around and make these things happen to you. You don't want bad ju-ju.

You could always get on his good side and buy his parts for sale. Then you would be his no.1 customer. Of course, wear black and only buy at night...

Borrow a pit bull. Be seen walking the dog. Mention that the dog sleeps by the car.
