Clark Kent, Lex Luthor, and Ferdinand Porsche...

I was watching Smallville (a show about Clark Kent's teen years in Kansas) last night and saw Lex Luthor in his second Porsche of the show. The first car looked like a silver SC that he drove off a bridge in the pilot. Last night's car was a triple black 964 cab. Now, obviously Lex can afford a 996 or the latest twin turbo, so if he's only driving air-cooled Porsches from a decade ago he's making a statement, right? ;-)

More seriously - surely it can't be too tough to find someone in CA who'll loan them a new Porsche for a night's shooting?

Emanuel

C'mon, you know how hard it is getting a woman to loan you her car.

I don't think that was a run of the mill cab. It looked to have a low windshield (C2 Speedster).

993 and earlier are much more recognizable as Porsches. Every time I see I 996, I wonder, "What happened to that Contour???" Then I realized I'm looking at a Boxster.

Oh, wait. I mean a 996.
