Is there a special tool for end plugs on external front mount cooler
Trying to find out if there is a special tool to loosen and tighten the covers for the extetrnal front mount t-stat? The round covers.

I used a pipe wrench (like plumbers use) and it came off easily. some people here have instead used a large washer with one end ground flat, welded to a nut which can be turned with a wrench. If you take it off, get a new sealing ring (PElican sells) to prevent leaks when you reinstall.

Excellent tip, I searched for like 3 hours looking for this tool, I like the washer with the nut idea! I will chimprovise at the shop tomorrow!
