For the most part my '73 T is a daily driver. Last year I replaced all the synchros and seals, filled 'er up with Swepco and have been smiling ever since. However, I was recently out of town for a week so was without the 911 (Argh!). When I hopped in to drive it after it'd been sitting for over seven days I noticed immediately that it shifted better than ever. I'm talking like BMW-esque, hot-knife-through-butter stuff. Not the usual pause-slightly-at-neutral stuff. The next morning, however, it was back to it's usual self - not bad, just not awesome. This slick shifting scenario now happens to me every time I don't drive the car for more than a couple of days. What's going on here? And yes, the tranny still is still full of Swepco and doesn't leak.
