Spark Plug Recommendations

I am cross posting this since I can't get responses on the 944 board unless I am talking about street racing some "ricer"...

Here goes:

I am getting ready for DE next month.

I hear both sides of the spark plug thing....

Only use the Bosch replacements!
&
Get some new fangled 15 tip platinum titanium for 100 more hp!

My turbo is chipped, 3" downpipe and no cat, and MSD ignition I have always used the factory recommended replacements.

Would I benefit from something other than the stock plugs?

Oh yeah and what about wires? I have always used the stock beru wires and they are only about 1 year old.

Use the search, and you will find all the info you will ever need on spark plugs and wires. I use bosch supers and magnecore 10mm wires.

Maybe consider bosch or beru silver tip plugs.

944 guy.
I owned a 1985.5 944 for 12 years and sold it recently with 345,000 miles on it!! Yep, no engine or tranny work. I replaced the plugs every 10K with BOSCH PLATINUM...............................

Some plugs are mated with certain engines and the Platinums I feel are berst suited for the 944.

Just a bit of advice from a 944 owner.

Regards
