That's on purpose....as long as you are a buyer or have his stuff you can get information from him. He hates tire kickers. Hence the shield.

If you are a Porsche Club guy, I have a few contacts on the west coast that are users and can prolly help.

I'd be willing to bet they have a phone number, and are fluent in English...

I've gone through this procedure a couple of times. I know it's a little different than other businesses but it is quite effective.

Fax it over. Richard calls, clarifies any points needed, gets you exactly what you need.

Handled.

+1...............a couple of weeks a go, I faxed in a parts request and how/when i could be reached by phone. The next day Richard called, verified that the parts I was ordering met my requirement and it was a done deal.........very responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant individual.

I'm sure that he will be no different regarding tech help.

Regards,
al

Richard Parr is old-school and a gentleman. He doesn't do email. Try faxing or snail mail. How many time zone between SoCal and SoAfrica? I talk to the UK frequently; 8 am in SoCal is 4 pm in the UK.
