Nice pass by Bergmeister at (what was it?) 2.5 laps remaining. Second beats the heck out of third behind the BMW any day.

There was an accident early on in the race involving Puegot and Audi. He jinked to the left and basically left the Audi no where to go except towards the GTC Porsche and wall... This was also on the straight leading to turn 8 I believe. That might be what they were meaning.

But ya, nice to see the lizards finish on an up and giving the tire title to Michelin.

Why didn't he go to the right? It was great coverage of the race.

Woofie Ulrich knows the heat is always on against Peugot and competition is great both in and out of the pits. It was just a racing incident squeeweeze me move. LMP are wicked fun to watch!

We'll good thing they aired it when they did. I would have missed it otherwise.

ESPN3. Did a really good job..10hrs..
ABC--2HRS...Dismal...No interview with flying lizards or winning bmw after the race....Lots of commercials how great the zr1 is and have to scale back on hp to compete in GT class......
Good to see Flying lizards take care of their top end issues..They most likely would have won it if they didn't have two tire puncture incidents
Corvetter zr1 group said they were not competitive against the bmw-ferrari-porsche...(What about those great commercials they were pushing?)
After seeing replay after replay the Pugeot driver did push enough to left for the Audi R18 not to pass then wreck..You can see the Pugeot driver immediately went to back to his line on the right..Not good
...

The race will also be on the ALMS website in a week or so, along with all of the other races of the season which you can still watch there.

The Ferrari won GT, not the BMW. BMW won the manufacturers, team, and drivers championship. Bergmeister was left with only the tire championship to fight for, which he secured for Michelin by passing the BMW.

Does anybody else like the ALMS commentators (who you hear online) better than Johnny O and the other guy on ABC? That one guy's accent is great, and he is always excited about everything.

Yes- I know. AF Corse Ferrari does not compete in ALMS. They were a guest team.

OK, I forgot about that. They interviewed the Ferrari team online but not the BMWs.

I just get driver quotes from the Flying Lizard race report or the ALMS report.
