Any straws you
guys can give me to grasp at this point would be deeply appreciated.
I'll try to keep this short, but can't grauntee anything.....the same with the speeling. I was draining the oil catch pan into recylcable containers when a spec of gold caught my eye.......then more & more. Sweat started rolling down the crack of my a**. ![]() The motor is out of the car (oil leak) and I can't get at the sump cover.....what to do.....the magnetic plug wuz clean as a whistle. Oil pressure was fine as frog hair when I shut her off, last. Cut open the oil fliter. Oh lordy, copper + tin. Not much, but none would have been mo better. My opinion is that I am f****d. ![]() I am willing to be talked out of this, however. The good news is that I've loaned out my engine yoke thingy. Hurry up, Joe. My sense of humor is intact, but the grip is tenuous.

Whall sure.......done it to meself. too.
The oil sat in the pan for about two weeks, giving the particulates a good chance to settle out. I prolly wouldn't have noticed it, otherwise.
