I'm trying to find some pics of 'mid year' (1984-1989) Red on White Carreras and coming up short. I only see the early long-hood iterations and later (2000s) versions. I'm entertaining the idea of color changes...

I think mid-year refers to 1974 - 1977, SC is 1978 - 1983 and Carrera is 1984 - 1989. If you search for "carrera clubsport" you should find some examples of white cars with red side decals.
