				911 Strut Brace
			 
			At this springs Hershey Swap I purchased what I believe to be a Weltmeister strut brace. It did not come with the mounting flanges shown in the picture below. Does anyone know if it is possible to but these separately?   | ||

			Weltmeister sells them for something like $45-48 dollars a side ... Call them,they should be able to supply you with new mounting brackets.I had called them last year because mine had cracked but i decided to weld them up instead ! There are a few posts where people cut out a hole (possibly 1 3/8) to relieve the shock mounting nuts on the brackets,do a search and cut the holes before you install the strut bar and get an alignment. I will be doing this over the Winter when my car is stored away ... Cheers ! Phil

			Yes, if you get the weltmeister, you must modify them to allow the top of the shock to pivot freely.  These were incorrectly designed and crack because they clamp to the top shock bolt.  Might as well look for a different design / manufacturer, and just make sure your bar will fit.  Looks to be pretty standard heim joint end.

			I think I have some spare brackets from a JM strut brace that you could have really cheap. PM me if interested and I will see if I can find them.

			I think you just have to hollow out / enlarge the hole that the center shock bolt goes through, so it is not attached to the mount at all.  This bolt needs to pivot.  The mount should rely on the 3 outer adjustment bolts for its "mount."  This is probably why the OP found a bar with no mounts - the old mounts were proably cracked.  Do a search and you will find more info on  the weltmeister mounts, the cracks, the welds, and the mods.  There are pictures available. Check this out: Weltmeister strut bars
