Carburator linkage rebuild

Hello,
I'm really surprised I cannot find any thread about this topic, most likely I'm not using the right keywords so please feel free to direct me the right thread if this has already been covered.
I've got a 71 T with the original Zenith carbs. The carbs may need at some point a rebuild, but at the moment I would like to start rebuilding the linkage that connects the 2 carburators because there is some play here and there in the "uniballs" that connect the different arms. I'm not too sure you can call them uniballs, anyway is it possible to source and change them? The reason why I'm asking is that at the moment the left carbs begins to open up a bit while the right one isn't moving yet due to the play in the linkage.
many thanks
luca
