Rear Window Trim Question
I have an '89 Carrera that I'm planning to polish the black anodized trim to bright silver. In searching the forum I've found good info on how that's done. However the other day I noticed the rear window doesn't have any metal trim--it's all rubber. How do I go about adding metal, silver, trim to the rear window?
Thanks,

you can't insert the metal trim without removing the seal. unless your seal needs replacing (window leaks) you are probably better off leaving it alone unless you want to buy the trim, as the seal is not easy to replace because of the defrost wires.

Depending production date on your car you would have to change seal all together. The older windows have the metal on them. Hope this helps at all.
