Am I just lucky? AutoHeat Redemption
I was warming my car up in the driveway on Saturday morning in preparation for a ride. So I jump in the car and lo-and-behold....the AutoHeat was working! This has been broken for the past three years, and now all of a sudden it is working fine. All I did was replace the engine compartment blower fan last year, and that did not seem to help. Until now.
Is this a Porsche miracle?

Christopher- I'd say your lucky!
My 84 coupe is missing the auto-temp sensor above the windshield rear view mirror (acquired that way) and after sorting it all out from the prior owner, including blower, shutters, thats my missing link. If anyone has a parted out car or a sensor to let go, please let me know. I'd like to exercise this car on some frozen Wisconsin lakes this winter. Scott |

I finally got tired of mine doing this, of course it would die in the up position when hot out, and the down position when cold. Now I just have two levers between the seats and they never fail.
