What Makes the '89 930 Turbo Distinct?

Aside from the G50 gearbox, What makes the 1989 Turbo distinct from the rest of the other (impact bumper) previous years?

Thanks,

Jay

oh and probably quite a bit higher resale value. I think you had most of it, but others will soon chime in on the small details.

There's a hydraulic clutch that goes along with the 5-speed, too.

Previous years were 4-speed, cable clutch.

thats pretty much it the 5 speed, but many people have spent over 10k to swap the 4 speed to a 5 speed. So it ads a lot of value

having an 84 euro 930 with a 4 speed, i cant imagine ever even using the 5 speed. i am usually doing around 75 in 3rd. 4th seems to be a gear for maybe 90+ must be crazy fast

I think the gear ratios are spaced a bit closer, thus less rpm drop between shifts and less lag.
