Can too much oil mess up your transmission?
My '67 has a 901 trans, and on decelleration the box whines.....Can too much oil (like 5 oz too much) cause this? Cant drive it until the weather clears...

Kinda hard to over fill a tranny....whatcha do, put it on it's side...fill it and then install it?
It has a vent....not likely.....have you been talking to mechanics after a long day at the barz?

That's your ring gear whining, most likely Or something. Nothing to do with a minor difference in oil level. If only it were that easy.
