Cruise Control Switch Contacts.
As per the both the factory and Bentley attachments, it would appear that with the switch in a "neutral", or inactive position, the cruise control contact(s) should be in an "open" state showing no continuity from the black wire to any other wire.
However, a brand new switch, shows continuity between the black and brown wires at the switch connector with the switch out of the car. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, Gerry
