RIP in deed Lisa,
To distill it down...( Chuck spells it out well in his post on the Early S) It was breast cancer. A little over 4 weeks from diagnosis to her ultimate passing. So, those little pink ribbons now impact all of us a lot more than it already has. Brings it home now more than ever. Mention it to the wonderful women in your lives (I have), and let's see if this can help anyone we know. I think we could/should get this into a sticky and perhaps get our own donation flow/fund, volunteerism for her family (3 kids 15, 14, and 12 from my memory). Or for Breast Cancer in general. We've lost a great one here...I was blessed to meet her in person on several occasions, and she was truly "one of a kind", in a great way. Eric http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1319647017.jpg |
Just horrible, horrible news, so hard to believe and accept.
Rest in peace, Lisa. |
Very Sad News
This is very sad. Pelican and, I'm certain, the world is diminished by her loss. Condolences to her family and friends.

Wow,....This is a real shock. Lisa was a terrific lady in every sense of that word. We had exchanged many e-mails over the years and she was very special.
My deepest condolences to Mike and the rest of the family as I know how much she will be missed. Thanks to Eric for posting the details here as sometimes this illness isn't taken seriously enough. Too many fine people lose their lives to this disease that I hope is cured in the foreseeable future. |
Very sad, HUGE loss:(
I really enjoyed reading her post, her history, her passion for Life.. While some of us have lost people before to cancer, this is a reminder of how vulnerable all of us are. And, Women aren't alone when it come to Breast Cancer, or any, and I had 5 polyps removed 2 months ago, and I'm only 46, so get this stuff checked regularly.. R.I.P. & prayers to Lisa's family:( |
This is absolutely awful. Lisa looks like such a nice person...and she liked Porsches too! My sister just got through chemo from having breast cancer. Its too prevalent in society :(

Sad story, lady made an impression. RIP

RIP Lisa Spyder. An amazing Lady.

Very sad to hear. I'm just glad to know that her life was a little more full by being a Porsche lover. Another reminder to live life to its fullest since none of us get out alive.

Just devastating news. I'm so sad to hear this, I can't even wrap my head around it. Far too young and full of life to be gone so quickly.
