Sad news.

Why do the ones that do not deserve to go get picked:confused:

Didn't know her, just went through some of her posts and she is def one of the better ones in this world.... Prayers go to her family, RIP Lisa.

My condolences to her family.

I get so mad when I read about stuff like this. 4 weeks from a diagnosis to her ultimate passing.... what the F are doctors doing during a check up these days.

Absolutely unbelievable news. My sincere condolences to Lisa's family. In our exchanges on the S Reg, I was always impressed by her quick whit, her willingness to the boys, and general love of life, her family, and Porsches.

My thoughts and best to her family. She was a valuable member of the community and will be very much missed.

What terrible news. Rest in Peace Lisa, and sympathy to her family. I'm sure she's "upstairs" right now talking Porsches with her Dad John, the 356 and Early 911 Guru of Gurus.

Never had a chance to meet her, but it's sad anytime when this happens, especially so young.

Guys, thank you all so very much for your thoughts, prayers and best wishes. Tom 19, Charlotte 14, and Billy 12 and I are simply stunned by the response of the news of Lisa's passing.
For those of you don't know she was 46 born and bred here in Melbourne.
She had, in many ways a charmed up bringing always having at least one 911 of some description and a 356 in the garage at any time.

I can recall one story in particular. John her Dad had brought home a 924 and offered her a lift to school in it. On this particular day, John had to stop around the corner from school so she would be less likely to be seen getting out of it.
What can I say except she was always the Porsche purist!

She was fortunate to have passed away after a friend of hers had spent 15 mins chatting to her, playing Michael Buble to her. Two Porsche crazy women who had not seen each other for a while, Michelle had been twice to see her in hospital that day. Lisa was very calm and restful, no one can ask for much more than that.

A good friend told me about Lisa just now. She was a bright shining star. It seems so unfair. In our families, my wife and I have had several recent passings. My wife looks up at the next full moon and tells me she sees those people in the moon. Lisa, we will see you in the moon..and always.

god rest

Mike,

I never had the opportunity to meet Lisa or even have the opportunity to have her post to me. From the posts I have read from everyone here and on the S registry I missed out inter acting with a fine person as a result.

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time and may the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.
