I did try to get one. They're apparently out of production and the price if available as I recall was something like $1,500.

I (re)built a real one for not much more than that! It is a nice piece though.

Hello

In the 70´s was a story in AMS about a model Porsche engine. It had a strange scale as it had to use a spark plug to run. I think it was a Carb version and made something like 25 HP.

What are these little engines listed as on e-bay? Porsche 911 model engine? I would love to get a hold of one of those things!

These were made by Marushin (sp?) in Japan in the late 90's. Mostly cast alum and machined metal parts. It actually runs on a can of airbrush propellent! New they were about $1k, so $1.5k is not that bad.
