WUR fuel line
Hello all,
Driving home today i found the car wasn't pulling as usual when putting my foot on the pedal. When i got home, i discovered that the fuel line that goes from the fuel distributor to the warm up regulator was pissing fuel. I have an 81 sc. that particular line is half metal, half plastic. It's just the plastic line that is leaking. Does anyone know the particular size of the line? like diameter. Is it something i could get from my hardware store? Looking at our host's lines they come in 7-9mm and some 3.5... Help? Cheers Chris |

A temporary fix might be to purchase a couple of the smallest sizes of barbed fittings - the ones which are barbed on both ends. Cut the plastic at the leak, and insert the barbed fitting. Some heat should help let the plastic expand some. I don't know the size, which is why I'd get several sizes that look like they may be small enough. These are strong enough, if sized correctly, to hold full fuel pump pressure.
