1983 911SC Cabriolet. Top catch above the windscreen latches the top with some downward pressure from the outside. Occasionally while driving down a rough road or during highway speeds the catch slips from windscreen latch hole thus letting the top fly open while the car is moving. Is there an adjustment for the catch or another method to secure top....Porsche part # 911 565 031 41...thanks

Take a look at the pins that are in the top. They depth can be adjusted to create tension when the latches are engaged.

Joe Bob,
Can you share any details about how to adjust the depth of the pins? This may solve a longstanding problem I've had with latch tightness and resulting wind noise. Thanks, David

Pull your top down and take a pic of the pins that stick striaght up....post it. It's raining and will be for the next three days, otherwise I would.

Loosen the lock nut, bring the pin out deeper.
