Has anyone used air deflection plates on their rotors. These are the plates that fill the hub gaps and deflect air up through the rotor. Seems like a good idea but do they really do any good?
Thanks,

They only do any good if you use them with the Cool-Brakes kit or the custom Clark Griswald ducting setup. Without those deflectors, alot of air is said to not get into the eye of the rotor like it should for good cooling action. Air supposedly just goes around the outside of the rotor instead. Most likely a waste of $$$ on a street-only car.

The Griswald Super Duper Brake Cooling System, version X-5, is the only way to go! Check out this thread: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8623&highlight=Griswald+and+Brake+and+Cooling
