Rev Limit Rotor

On the 911/SC with CIS they controlled overreving
through a fuel shutoff. On the early 911 with MFI and Carbs they had a spring on the rortor that popped at
xxx RPM's....

The question I have is will the early rotor fit the
distributor or work on the distributor of the SC which is what I have.... I have carbs and no longer have the CIS components
so I am looking for a way to control RPMS's

Joe,

According to the '78 - '81 spec book, a 6800 rpm rev limiter rotor was used on the 930/03, 10, and 13 engines.

Joe, I think Ronald K. did a posting a few months back saying the part numbers for cut offs a different revs. Bill
