Here's my doors. Micro-suede wrapped upper door trim, RS carpet kit piece cut and sewn for bottom kick piece, leather door opening straps used as pulls, and nylon straps used as door openers. Hidden speakers flush mounted underneath carpet kick piece and just below upper door trim. Car is Diamond Blue Metallic, so the carpet and upper door piece look very good against it.

'84 Carrera. Originally all brown, a previous owner had the seats, door and quarter panels recovered in an ivory leather to create a two-tone look.
It's an interesting look, and the leather used was top notch - although it was done almost 10 years ago, the leather is soft and supple. But in the end, I wish it was still all brown, and will probably re-dye it all next summer. (Unless someone in Oregon or SW Washington would like to trade!) ![]()

I wanted to reduce the weight of my car, but being primarily a street car, I wanted to keep it factory looking. So I removed the heat/sound pad from the back seat area. I deleted the rear seats. I used an RS carpet. And when I made my door and quarter panels, I used lightweight (and waterproof) coroplast. Since I have such a dark interior (black carpet and headlining) I wanted to give it some color. So I went with the black watch tartan. I recently bought a vintage 370mm Prototipo that I will be installing this weekend.

Recaro LS seats recovered to match the original dark blue interior as were the Appbiz RSA door panels.
The console has been deleted since this picture was taken. I'm going to have the seats redone again this Spring, this time with blue/black houndstooth inserts. ![]()

And they are super comfortable and very supportive. Best of all, they were...FREE! A few years back, fellow Pelican in Florida offered them to the first respondent who would come and get them out of his garage. At that time they were in the original black fabric and were in excellent shape. In retrospect, I'm not happy with the re-upholstery work that was done (the bolster edges are too "wrinkly") but I've since found another local trim shop who will do them right the second time around, with better materials. Here's a pic with a better angle to show what the seats look like. ![]()

This is the interior of my 88 CE 911. I believe the carpets and door panels are called "silk veloure" in silver and its one of the thickest and softest carpets I have yet to see in a 911. The leather is "soft touch" gathered. I am ordering matching silver mats instead of the darker blue as shown in the pics.

This was taken earlier this year. I did a complete interior upgrade with color change and stereo delete.
