I've noticed the color of the wires to the front fuse panels on my car do not match the ones on the wiring diagram from the factory manuals. Has anybody noticed this or is it only on my car. I checked the wiring diagram from the year before my car and some wires match that diagram however some wires are not on either diagram. I only have had the car running twice since I bought it as a restoration project and just noticed this.

Hello
The 2,2 have a change in some colors and also they have some specialtys, f.e: that the trunklight runs via the parklightfuse. I think only some cables are different coded and this goes up to the 964 in nearly the same colors. The early cars also have vertical code stripes while later cars have longitutiunal code stripes. I have the same on my 70 911S. Most of the wiring is like the 1970 diagram. Some of it from 1971 (which is my model year).
