Speed/Reference Sensor Bracket on 3.2
Had to remove the actual bracket to replace the two sensors.. (corrosion).
Upon removal, the bracket itself seems to be missing one tube. (The part #930-101-089-01 shows two tubes.) Are there in fact two tubes or one; for the sensors to fit into? The Reference Sensor position has a tube and the Speed Sensor position does not on my bracket. TIA |
Mine only had one tube too.

Just had my engine out recently and my sensors only had one tube ... 89 3.2 engine
Cheers ! Phil |
Ditto,
Just be very careful putting the new ones on, DO NOT Twist in, the are liken to light bulbs and if you twist it in, it will break the filament and make the sensor useless. Jim |
Thank You all for the clarification..(and the heads up on twisting the sensor) I believe that "Tippy" has asked about twisting the sensor so I hope that he has read this post.

One tube also , my speec sensor was so stuck
I had to cut it in half " a drill holes thru it To knock it out. It was ridicoulous I then used a Dremel with a wire wheel to clean the case. This was A time consuming little project to do both the sensors. But afterwards car has never run better. Idle surging And second try starts instantly gone. |
