mattre aluminum cage
some years ago, i purchased the above unaware that the front hoop was slightly bent. it does not seem to be alot but where would i look to have it realigned for installation into my 930? it is aluminum and i dont know if it requires any specific equipment, etc. it looks to be the same as was installed in some of the Ruf cars. the rear portion is fine.. thanks for any ideas or suggestions!

Unless you are installing it for show I'd skip it and buy a steel one
There's a reason IMSA outlawed those things

As Dan said, do not install it. Lots of discussion on the perils of a cage on a street car. No sanctioning body will allow an AL cage for competition. And once it has been bent it is compromised, full stop.
You have to value yourself more that whatever you paid for that cage. ![]() |
