Throttle Linkage Sticking

Think I found the problem with my throttle not returning to idle except by reaching down and pulling back on the accelerator pedal. The plastic bushings are toast and no outer lip left at all. I'm not seeing my linkage on Pelican Parts schematics but do see this bushing listed. 901-423-253-00-M260 Its termed an "accelerator lever bushing" vs. and accelerator rod bushing. Rod bushing seems to be the ones at the engine. Says its for a turbo and mine is 87 Carrera. Bushings measure 12mm OD and 8mm ID. Anyone know if this is right ? Think I confirmed the part number in my " Big Book of Part Numbers" finally.
Rest of the pedal assy looks great visually. Kinda leaning to not taking the whole thing out right now.
Sorry, blurry. My camera does not like close shots.

Yes that's the right part number for the bushing in the throttle pedal lever at the pedal cluster

Appreciate the confirmation. I'll probably purchase the other bushings through the system to have on hand and flesh out an order.
Quick other thing, the rubber boot on the clutch master cylinder has also disintegrated. Leave it hanging, clip it off? Not critical, mostly a dust shield.

The master boot is not critical but it's nice to have on there. It's surprising how much crud can accumulate down in the pedal area, even when occasionally cleaned.

You might be able to find a close copy of the boot? I did a search at my favorite industrial supply place and found this

Excellent thought on McM. My favorite place also, hadn't considered them for this part. Amazing they can ship UPS for such ridiculous low rates and delivery usually next day. That first one looks darn close actually.

I think the first one is real close going by memory. Close enough is all you need in this instance, since its not in a harsh environment where the boot would be critical to long term operation.

Yeah I always check there and their catalog search power is awesome. Agreed on the speed of service too. Its like having a local hardware store at your fingertips. I can place an order in the evening and it'll be on my doorstep the following afternoon via regular ground shipping since they're so close to me. Plus returns are no questions asked. You don't like it? No big deal. Just send it back and they'll take it and do all the work to find out where it goes back into stock. No return authorization or forms needed. Just send it back and they take care of it.
