It's OK but could be far better as its coverage is limited.

They showed snippets of the races and a bit of the exhibition tent and Porsche Classic display, but missed the opportunity to feature most of the drivers and fans that make the event so special. Still better than a lot of other ways to spend an hour on TV.

Motor Trend's YouTube channel has 9 hours of excellent coverage of the event in three parts. Very old school feel.

I don't know. Not digging 90% of this. (The in-car 917 footage is way cool). Just way too much race coverage for my taste. FYI, I sat for 2 races up in the stands and there was MAYBE 200 people in total in the stands too (Friday afternoon). So many other way cooler things to see that get treated like afterthoughts in this production.

Rennsport Reunion on Velocity tonight at 5pm
^^^ A contrary view. My son and I spent the entire day Saturday at the corkscrew watching practice and racing. They had a food truck and beer garden at the top of the hill. I never felt like there was a better place to be.
I missed seeing a lot of the pit area displays and rolled my eyes at the lines for autographs. Sunday we did a quick blast through the Pit and then had to leave for home. I feel the TV Show lacked good race coverage and provided no interesting pit or other event coverage. It sucked; Thumbs Down! ![]() ![]()

Recorded it and watched less the usual Velocity 20 minutes or more of commercials. I enjoyed it but feel they could have included more pit coverage showing the mechanicals and interviews with some of the guys who drove these fantastic creations. . Perhaps done it in two shows(twice the commercials).

If the did a show that was simply every car coming down the corkscrew with a little blurb about its history, specs, etc. I'd watch that and deal with the commercials!

You guys need to record every TV show you want to watch on a DVR, then zip thru the commercials. I do that on just about everything I watch on TV especially the evening news. Drug commercials at that time drive me crazy.

prevalent 15 or so years ago. I know I almost never see ANY commercials! Also with the drug commercials, it's a wonder anyone ever uses the drugs given the dire warnings they state!

I thought the same thing - have not seen a commercial in a while on recorded shows, and in the end all the drug commercials say you may die....great!
