'87 Carrera Torsion bars size.........

Could someone help me find out the diameter size (mm) for the stock front and rear torsion bars of an '87 Carrera with G-50 transmission? I bought this car last week for my son who lives in Carmel, California and planning to drive the car from Philadelphia to California this spring. So my winter project is to work on the suspension, brakes, drop the engine (to check the clutch disc thickness), tune-up, valve adjustment, wheel alignment, etc. Thanks.
