Wiring schematic to the rear light units

I am having problems with the lighting on the right rear light unit. Brake, running and turn signal on the right rear seem not to work or work when it feels like it. This is for a 1985 911.

Does anyone have a schematic to the rubber plug in the body where the wiring harness plugs in from the tail-light assy? I have the factory schematic but on the one that I have cannot see any description of the various wires in the plug.

Also where does this harness run to from here? Over to the left hand side of the car or ? May need to follow it further if there is no power at the plug on the rear fender.

Thx,

Joe

Not sure if this is the same on an 85 as my 81.

Here is the pin out on my SC facing the female socket in the wall.

12:00 Tail lights
2:00 Not used on drivers side - oil level sender on passenger side.
4:00 reverse
6:00 Tail lights
8:00 Brakes
10:00 Blinker

That is a nice diagram, where is it from? I'd like for an 89 3.2 but there is probably many of the same wires.

You can download the Bentley manual from this website. I do not believe the diagram posted is from the Bentley manual. But it works fine in a pinch.

You need a pretty fast connection.

It's from my "well loved" factory manual.

The page above doesn't look like any pages in the Bentley manual I have.
+ 1 - Maybe factory manual?

It is, and having found several omissions/errors in the Bentley, I strongly prefer it over the Bentley.

The small boxes in the CKT diagram such as N51 are Alpha-Numeric co-ordinates which refer the user to another page in the manual.

Best,

Gerry

Yes, agree - looks much better than Bentley, I also found errors in Bentley - maybe it avoids copyright issues :-)
You would think free access to the factory wire diagram would be available, lots of the other diagrams are available e.g. on this site. I'm not asking, just saying.
