Targa bar fading...
Having just repainted my targa bar, is there some kind of non-glossy UV protectant I can put on that will help ensure that I won't be painting it again in 2 years?

Color Back will spiff it up nicely

Just be aware that if you use a product like Back To Black or Armor All on your Targa bar, that you will have to strip the bar down to the stainless steel before repainting.
Despite sanding and using a solvent, the primer wouldn't stick to my bar because the PO had used Back to Black on the faded bar. |

I like the glossy look, and have found that a regular (1x monthly or more) cycle of:
* P21S paintwork lotion * Klasse All-in-one * Klasse Sealant glaze does a fine job in keeping my repainted bar crisply black. DO NOT (I speak from experience) add wax to a painted Targa bar. It kills the gloss queekly. Cheers! C. |
