HeadLights LightLess!

Just woke my 86' 911 cab up from it's winter sleep and the headlights won't work. The driving lights work, the blinker works, the brake lights work, but no headlights.

Any electra-magicians out there who can help me see the light?

the turn signal switch/dimmer switch ultimately directs the juice from the light switch to the headlight fuses. does the hi/low work at all?

check under the dash and see if the round, black rubber electrical plug thru the cowl maybe came loose. there's 6 of them for various things, in the area behind the ignition switch. push on them all. if the park lights work, the light switch is getting power. so the terminal on the light switch that gives power to the dimmer switch is suspect, the dimmer switch may be melted, the plug thru the dash from the dimmer switch may be off, all 4 headlight fuses or all 4 headlight beams may be burned out (unlikely, but you never know).

Hate to state the obvious but - did you check the fuses?

Thanks John!

After replacing all of the fuses, I got a flashlight and looked under the dash. Sure enough, the top round plug from the switch to the firewall had pulled out just enough to disable the lights.

Now I can see the light!
