question on mfi electric pump
Hi, had my car acting up this morning on my way to work until finaly dying, found the electric pump not coming on unless I taped it. The pump was replaced 3 month ago with a new one from ebay so they said, with only 4000 miles on it. Can I put a standard 1 in and 1 out on the return line or out to filter or do I have to replace it with an original with 3 outlet/inlet? They are not cheap, anybody with that experience?

The MFI pumps output is 1 bar and you need the stock one (3 connections) because excess fuel is returned to the tank. You may be able to get a rebuilt one but I'd spring for a new one.

The new ones are made in China. The rebuilt ones sometimes leak. Neither option is that great. I would go rebuilt, however.
