I think rear seat belts were an option or installed after the fact in your picture on the early cars.

My 73.5 T did not have them new. Car was purchased in Washington DC.

My wife and I almost installed a set after we had kids and she wanted to put the child seat in the back. I bought a MB wagon for her instead. That is how I remember the detail.

This is what was in my '73 euro/grey market?
Only a distant memory now...
Only pic I have of that area.

My recently sold 73.5T had rear belts like the photo of the 74, above.

If you have the mounting seat belt lugs under the carpet, then the "1974" pictures above are correct. If not..and I think by 1973 they all had the lugs under the carpet....then the "1973 gray market" with the belts bolted in at the seat hinges would be correct.

If you are doing this for show purposes..then there would be no seat belts in the rear.

Thank you all, your answers helped.
There are mounting seat belt under the carpet in my 73.5, so I will look for the 1974 seat belts.
