Pelican Parts Best ENGINE Photo Competition

Ok, the other thread has inspired me. I had this idea a long time ago, but I guess now is as good as any time.

I want to put a collage of engine photos on my inside front cover of the new engine book (say about a 6x10 grid or so). So, post your best engine photos, and also send me a copy of them via email:

wayne@pelicanparts.com

with the Subject: Engine Photo

Keep in mind that you can only post a limited sized file here, however, for the book, I need the LARGEST FILE SIZE POSSIBLE.

-Wayne

Wayne, do you want modified motors too, or just historically correct ones?

Can they be in they car? I love this board, but I'd have to think twice about dropping the engine just for a photo!

Now that's some fine pantina on the ever popular air pump bracket. At auction, we expect the air pump bracket alone, to fetch between. . .oh wait; before I tell you; have you ever had this apraised before? Are you sitting down? . . .

Chris -

Whose engine is that with the MFI and twin plug? I see on the MFI pump the enrichment solenoid has been removed and something (a screw and nut??) put in its place. Is this how the racers do it?

Just wondering (drooling).

Shamelessly lifted from klober23's post in another thread:

8 webers would have been much cooler, but you have to admit it is pretty interesting.
