Hey, what is this....?
...the sticker or emblem to the right of the steering wheel and to the left of the ashtray on the knee bumper? It looks like it may be related to the targa lever release?
 My '85 FTL Targa just has a worn spot there. I thought the PO had real long legs and wore the leather down with his kneee, but now I think there is a missing decal. TIA all.

cruise control instructions. have the same sticker on my 80. the cruise handle is just behind the wiper switch(closer to the dash). unfortunately my cruise no longer works.

+1 Cruise Control
The Cruise Control stalk is also too close to the wiper stalk. Look lost count of how many times I've swiped my windshield by mistake.

if your cruise doesn't work, they do make aftermarket ones (which i've considered). I messaged a pelican earlier this year about a particular model and he said it works fine.
if you're real crafty you can even tap into the original cruise handle and keep it looking original, otherwise the model i'm thinking of comes with a switch panel - a few buttons on it to control your cruise. I think the brand was Rostra that i looked into. still may do it in the near future.
