81SC engine into 82SC car: one hose to go. What is it? what do I do with it?
I am on the last remaining hose before I put the engine into its new home. I currently have a bolt in it when the engine was put on a test stand and the car seemed to run ok. On the car side, I can see a few hoses, but I think they go to the cruise control. None of the car side hoses have the right male end.
Any ideas? again thanks in advance Marlin

Is it connected to the airbox on the side, closer to the bottom? If so, looks like the brake booster vacuum hose.

81, 82, the engines and injection, hookups and everything are the same on the Lambda fuel system. Voltage reg would be not there on the 82.

Brake booster line should be found entering the engine bay from the driver's side from underneath - up from the trans. I do not have my car near but I remember the connector being silver (probably aluminum) - not cadmium plated. |

There are 2 hoses that attach to the left side of the airbox. One is for the brake booster. It is connected to a y pipe that is attached to a hard line which you can see at the top of the picture. The other connection on the air box is to the right of that. It is for the charcoal canister located on the right side of the engine compartment.
