Sunday Morning Drive in Australia (Help me choose a photo!)

Dammit, I'm going for 'Fishcop Envy'

This is a mountain range called Paluma in North Queensland. The wife and I drive up this range once a month for "Tea and scones" at a beautiful little B&B. God I'm 32 and I'm beginning to sound old "B&B" indeed!

You might notice that the guts of my H1s are missing, they're off at the chromers for restoration.

Anyway, which photo should I have blown up for the wall of my garage?

Cheers

I'm envious.

Number three.

If you have a large digital file, email it to me and I'll clean it up in Photoshop for you. Make that gorgeous 911 pop out just a bit more.

John,

#2 is my choice! Shows off the SC Guards and all the curves!

John,

They're all nice, but I have to agree with Adam.

Also, image #1 or #3 might frustrate you because of the H1s.

Did you use a digital camera?

I think I might just "blow 'em all up".

Yes, I used my new digital camera, Canon Power Shot A10. I chose this one as there is also an underwater housing option for when I go diving.

I meant to take photos of myself and the Minister of Everything, but I just got carried away driving

Cheers

John,

Are you getting the reflectors rechromed in your lights? I have two H-1's that the reflectors are showing their age and have not been able to find someone to rework them here in the states.

Pls stay in touch and let me know how you like the result and costs.

Thx,

Joe

PS Like all three pics, but #1 the best. Only hard core P-car owners would notice the headlights!

I think that I'd join 2 & 3 together into a single, side by side image in photoshop.

ALways the rebel, I vote for #1 because of the great scenery in the background... Tunnel effect of the trees, etc...

John, Gorgeous car, lush surroundings. The annual rainfall figure must be pretty high there...all beautiful!

Here's a tweaked version of #3. My motto: 'Sell the car, not the forest.'

Old one -- for comparison:

#2

Great view of the car, a little back ground but no overwhelming.

I might think of the multiple view look with maybe #2 in the center with the other views blending in on the upper left and bottom right.

Just my opinion, this is the only place I can voice it without gettting my opinion corrected.

Of course, the computer can also offer a dizzying array of color choices. If only it were this simple in real life:

(Click on the image for a larger version.)

Now, if that doesn't inspire John Forcier envy, I don't know what will.

#3: You can see the curve of the road behind it. I like the angle and the blue off-setting the green. You also see more of the car instead of the ground below the front end.

Thumbs up Love blue Porsches

Shara has an eye for photos, and I'm a fool for blue Porsches. Nice job John, the car looks awsom. You would make a proud upside down R Grupper.
