Yes, I'm afraid so.
There are bunch of little fittings right below the screen rubber seal and the dash. To quote Wayne's book: "Its nearly impossible to get the dash in and out without removing this seal." 911s aren't too bad to work on, this is one of the exceptions that proves the rule. - roGER ![]() |

Is this true of all vintage 911s? The late model Carreras, '87-'89, have a different style dash, and it looks like some of the screws have been angled for easier access. -Juan
