Question Setting C) on '74 2.7l...

Just did my California smog check thing. All is well, but I had to adjust the mixture to get the CO into compliance. The state wants under 5% at idle - it was at about 6.5%. Now it's at about 3.5%. Does anybody know what the setting should be? This is a total stock 2.7L w/ CIS.

Thanks!

Mike

the factory setting is much leaner than you have now. 3.5% is perfect. 6.5% was extremely rich. the state lets you get away with 5%? wow!
