Location of Sirius antenna

Does the group have any thoughts on a 1988 911 cabriolet convertible as the bes location to place the antenna?

I ran my wire from the trunk, up under the dash and out where one of the defrost vents are and then routedthe wire back under the dash, at the vent so that it pops our right at the base of the windshield - basically it runs from the trunk to the base of the windshild but to do that I had to go a round about way. it was time consuming but I did not want any wires exposed or tucked.

The antenna sits at the base and center of the windshield. I was originally going to stick to the dash but it dosen't need it as it stays put.

Yep, the dash makes the most sense.
