How hard depends on what is wrong..

Easy stuff
I had issues with mine too an 88 coupe. First check to make sure bulbs are good. In my case it was the bulb sockets were worn and did not hold the bulbs tight as to give good contact. Solution was to add solder to the bulp "tip" contact area on the end. It made them very tight and burn bright. Another option is some of the new LED bulbs that are available seem to come with a longer contact area and consequently fit very tight on my car. If this is not the fix well...

Harder stuff
Going to have to start looking for loose/bad wiring. Poor ground etc...
The more quailfied will need to weigh in to help you with this.

Mike

Brake Light.

In the interest of rear window visibility, the post '86 3.2 cars relocated the third brake light to the bottom of the rear window.

Are you referring to the passenger or driver's side tail light?

Here's the circuit.

Hope this helps.

Good luck,

Gerry

Passenger's side. Thanks for the diagram. Are parts difficult to come by/install?
