Brake Pad Reccomendations for '74 & a couple of questions
This will be my first time doing the brakes on my 911. Currently they are terrible and I will be doing a complete rebuild of the calipers too and ofcourse, full flush. I also have braied stainless lines.
Any reccomendations for pads - this is a street car but I do drive spirited and do many mountain road trips. I'm wondering if brake dust is ever an issue on the 911. I have never seen a spec of brake dust on my wheels and I'm wondering if it's due to the type of pad that's on there now or due to my poorly performing calipers or that's how the older 911's are. Anyway, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks...........Vern Last edited by Tidybuoy; 01-24-2012 at 01:11 PM.. |

Buy any of the stock pads carried by our fine sponsor here. Unless you're tracking the car pretty vigorously, anything else is a complete waste of money.
