Coil advice.....
Can I use either of the coils show below as a replacement to the stock coil on my 1988 3.2 without any other modifications?

I have the MSD blaster on my 78SC, The PO put it there, in the 9 months and almost 10K miles of ownership, I have not had an issue with it yet. I dont know how long it was on there for the PO but my guess is a while so it most likely had in the range of 20K-30K miles on it.

But Pelican was recommending the MSD coil with the stock system for my 85 3.2. I just went through this last week.

I'm pretty sure the My Spark Disappears (MSD) coil is for a Capacitive Discharge ignition and is meant to be more of a transformer than an energy storage device.
