Smile Dave Buhain: need to contact

I would like to contact Dave Buhain of Motorsport Road and Race. I need an RPM transducer for my 1971 911S. Does anyone have a website, email,or any contact info for him?

Thanks

+2 on that... although they have some nice parts...the prices that they are asking for most of their parts is unbelievable... I know that some of the parts are rare....but with the prices they are asking...he might as well start a Pcar museum...as no one is ever going to buy those parts for the asking price...

It interests me that they can sell enough stuff to make the high prices worth it. I have seen him go through a swap meet and scoop up low volume, reasonably priced stuff first thing in the morning so people will have to come to him and pay 150% to 200% because his are the only ones left there.

Example: Original NOS Cibie hood lights for $850 a pair. It would be nice if they went to an enthusiast who could use a good deal. He snapped them up and walked them over to his booth where he was selling NOS sets for $2000. It wasn't so much that he was getting a deal. It was more of a case of controlling the supply so he could keep gouging.

Funny that he's still in business? He must be doing something right. How does one justify guys like 911 design or TRG for the price they charge? They are still around. And that people are beating down their doors for work.

Well, I suppose there are a number of first (and only) time buyers, like myself.

A note of caution in dealing with this guy
My purchase ($450) from them arrived (after significan textra freight cost to Australia) only to find that it didn't match the photo in the advert nor did it suit my model as advertised.
Final result to Dave B after emails of complaint are that I'm stuck with it

Talk about reviving a dead thread. Necromancers...love to raise the dead.

Good timing, too.

Happy Halloween!

I also had a real bad experience with Dave Buhain's company. I bought a new left door from Road & Race Inc. a.k.a. MSROADRACE for my 78 turbo coupe in August 2011. But the bodyshop received a Speedster door from him instead, and did not realize that the belt molding would not fit until after the door was painted. Dave never answered any phone or email inquiries about this. However, he did manage to get a credit card chargeback reversed in his favor due to painting of the door. He admitted to the bank that it was the wrong door, but would not provide a refund. He attributed the error to the door being 'somehow mismarked from the manufacturer's point of origin'. Customer service at Road & Race is a joke. Avoid dealing with this guy and save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.
