How to clean muffler?
It,s a 74 2.7 and was sitting for a decade.
My local rad shop isn't able to steam clean it,but is able to drop it in his tank and boil it. Will this hurt the muffler?Is there a better method? |

This one? Right click, go to properties and copy the gif file.....if it's not too big it will load as an avatar. Edit....too big a file. Maybe you can find a program to shrink it a bit.
 This one is my fave....

I tried to load it on my own....too big a file. Other websites allow larger avatar files.
This one doesn't....it makes the pages slow when you have links and other crap all loading at the same time. I'm surprised at the amount of video clips that are allowed. The Random vdeo thread in off topic takes tons of time and I would bet is a real drag on the server.

I just had my stock muffler ceramic coated. The powder coater first dipped the muffler in a chemical tank to remove the paint. They do this on a regular basis so I would assume the muffler is tough enough.
