I´ve just recieved a delivery of Pagid brake pads for my rear wheels. Unfortunately they did not fit - they looked exactly the same as my front pad does...When I told the company who sold me the pads this, they kept telling me that a 1992 Carrera 2 (964) should have the same pads front/rear. My rear callipers are quite smaller - Why? Did Porsche change to the bigger callipers in the middle of the production-year or what? Help me out, guys!

C4 had four-piston calipers front and rear. C2 had four in front and two in back. You should pay less for the smaller rear pads.

Hi Jack,
just checked your link to the on-line catalog. It clearly states that the Carrera 2 1992-1994 has the same pads as the C4 1989-1994....Or am I getting it all wrong?According to the list, 1990-1991 should have the smaller ones, but since my car is a C2 1992, they should be the bigger type??Confusing? You bet, pls help me out, Chris |
