What is this?
I have a 97-993. On the passenger side, by the passengers right foot is a panel that comes off.
Behind the panel is a black box with 5RLJ9300 on it and FCC markings. Also the small storage battery is connected to the black box. Can someone till me what it is. chowfun |

If it is a Lojack leave it in place. A previous owner paid for your protection and it does not require a subscription. They are automatically activated by a theft report of your vin. The police will enter the theft report in the NCIC database which will automatically set off the lojack.
