CV boot/s repair and replacement.......

I have not disassembled a late Carrera 3.2 CV joints/half shafts and seeking some help. My experience is limited to the SC's and done a few. While doing a valve adjustment for my son's car, I discovered the CV boots were torn and needed new ones. Ordered CV rebuilt kits from our host and expecting them to arrive anytime soon. Thanks.

Tony

On my 87, you can only take one side completely apart. The other side you have to clean "best you can" with all the cancer causing solvents you own over and over again. I used mostly kerosene.
You then put the boot down on the side not disassembled and second boot on the shaft also for re-assy.. I was you I would do both sides.

Jesse,

The package from our host arrived this afternoon with four (4) CV boot kits. Both sides CV's are already out on the workbench.
